Elliot has worked as a Physiotherapist in Brisbane for many years, he has gained extensive experience from working in a number of private practices. Elliot graduated at the School of Physiotherapy at Otago in 2008. Since then he has gone on to pursue postgraduate courses to further enhance his skills in rehabilitation, this has enabled him to provide specialised management for many different types of injuries and conditions.

Elliot is extremely passionate about his physiotherapy, he not only thrives off clients achieving results, but really enjoys developing great rapport with them as well. Elliot believes good communication is integral to managing a client’s injury or problem; as it ensures the most effective treatment is provided and best suits their lifestyle.

Elliot has played sport at a high level so understands the demands athletes and the recreational athlete is placed under in respect to stress and strain through the body. His experience in sporting injuries ensures his clients receive an accurate diagnosis, specialised treatment and a faster return to their activity or sport. Elliot has experience in occupational injury management having worked in large offices and factories he understands how injuries and problems are caused in the workplace. He believes educating plays a big part in improving work-related injuries and preventing them in the future.

Elliot’s broad exposure in rehabilitation has enabled him to become a well-rounded and holistic physiotherapist allowing his clients to receive expert management for their injuries and problems.

Elliot has completed further postgraduate courses in the following areas:

• Orthotic Assessment and Prescription
• Pilates advanced Machine and Mat

Special Interests:

Elliot has interests in many areas of Physiotherapy, he enjoys working with all clients who are motivated to improve their musculokskeletal problem and wellbeing. He enjoys working with complex musculoskeletal issues, such as complex postural dysfunctions, nerve associated pain, and biomechanical initiated problems which can all affect people’s daily activities. He also enjoys treating acute and chronic back and neck pain, and complex shoulder dysfunction.
